Woah Mona Lisa! Part Two

Just because I am a little bit in love with this song. And the band. Other than that, there is no point to this post other than to say "YIPPEEE! THE NEW PANIC! VID IS HERE!".

Baby, It's Cold Outside.

Top Five: Ways To Not Freeze To Death.
Disclaimer: I make no promises that indulging in these activities will not actually result in you freezing to death, so please don't come and haunt me if my advice turns out to be a little less than useful. However, I have tried all of these myself and as far as I am aware have yet to cross over to the other side.

5. Hot Water Bottle Under The Jumper. But over T-shirt.

4. Lying In The Bath. With Reading Material + Alcohol.

3. Dancing.

2. Cuddling Big Dogs. Or Cats. Or Humans.

1. Refuse To Get Out Of Bed.

Woah Mona Lisa!

Panic! At The Disco (yes, the '!' is now back!) have returned from the wilderness with a reduced line-up, but back to the awesomeness of their debut album. I think it's all down to the reinsertion of the punctuation mark that does it. Unfortunately, the official video has yet to be released, but there is a lyric video with a lovely theatrical font to view instead.

Where The Magic Comes Alive!

Top Five: Rides at Alton Towers
I've not been for a while, but they are the rides I have enjoyed the best on my last trip. So don't get angry at me if I have missed off a new, awesome ride. I probably haven't been on it yet. Or didn't like it very much. Both are plausible.

5. Tea Cup Ride
Yes, I am child.

4. Oblivion
Normally has the shortest queue of all the big rides.

3. Nemesis
Okay, so you get very sore ears by the end of it, but still...

2. Rita: Queen of Speed
Faster than I could ever think it was possible to go. Best adrenalin rush ever.

1. Air
It's like you are flying!

And while i'm at it....

Top Five: Alton Towers Dissappointments

5. Spinball Whizzer
Admittedly, I was not in the greatest mood when I went on this, and it was raining.

4. 3D cinema
I had already seen the film they had on. Pointless!

3. Corkscrew
Pretty much 30 seconds of having your head bashed about. Not ideal.

2. Haunted Hollow
The least scary thing EVER.

1. Charlie and The Chocolate Factory: The Ride
I had many issues with this ride. Mainly that it was a bit lame, and the voice of Charlie is a bit too upper class.

I Know I'm Finding It Hard To Breathe

Hurrah! The music video for You Me At Six's song with a rapper called Chiddy (minus his 'Bang') has arrived. Neither of them feature in the video. I do not know if this is down to busy schedules, pure laziness or an artistic decision, but the fangirls of YouTube are not happy about this.

BISS Awards: Most Played 2010

Top 10 Most Played Songs of 2010.
According to last.fm - who would not lie to me. But does like to make me look like a Miley Cyrus obsessive.

Somethings to note about the year 2010:
It was the year where I became fully obsessed with You Me At Six.
I was not a Miley Cyrus fanatic.
Last.fm ignores all the achingly cool music I listen to.

One of the above statements is a lie. I think you all know which one. Unless this is the first post you read.

10. Ignorance by Paramore

9. Need You Now by Lady Antebellum

8. The Consequence by You Me At Six

7. Dear Maria, Count Me In by All Time Low

6. Liquid Confidence by You Me At Six

5. Defying Gravity by the cast of Glee

4. Stay With Me by You Me At Six

3. Can't Be Tamed by Miley Cyrus

2. In My Head by Jason Derulo

1. Russian Roulette by Rihanna

BISS Awards: Best Movie 2010

2010: Best Films
Summed up in one sentence. Or at least attempted to.

May Contain Spoilers. But then again maybe not.
You have been warned. So don't complain either way.
Trailers included to entice you. I am not paid by anyone. Wish I was though.

10. Tamara Drewe
This film has a bit of everything: comedy, country bumpkin lifestyle, rockstars, Gemma Arterton in very short shorts and a genuinely shocking twist in the plot.

9. Despicable Me
I didn't expect much from this film, but it turned out to be very touching and funny.

8. Get Him To The Greek
Russell Brand is actually a very talented actor - who knew?

7. Inception
It annoys me that this film was made out to be really complicated and yet it made complete sense to me. I am weird like that.

6. The Twilight Saga: Eclipse
I am a little bit ashamed of myself.

5. Buried
Ryan Reynolds on screen for 95 minutes? Yes please!

4. Kick Ass
You feel like the coolest person in the world while watching this film.

3. Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part One
I was going to see it twice in one week, until my day turned into a complete disaster. This is no fault of Warner Brothers.

2. Scott Pilgrim vs The World
You feel like the nerdiest person in the world while watching this film. But in a good way.

1. Toy Story 3
No explanation needed.

Thks Fr Th Mmrs

So once again, I have become a slacker in the world of blogging. I have no excuse for this, other than my obsession with american TV shows and a tendency to go visiting my mother and not taking my beloved laptop with me. It has definitely not been time spent unpacking - but that it an issue for another day.
The only reason I have decided to return to my sanctuary of inane ramblings is that I have been inspired by the very grown up blogs of my two former housemates (its their fault I have any unpacking to do, so I think its also their fault that stuff is still in cardboard boxes - this is a bit of a stretch admittedly), though mostly the one who complained that I had neglected the sanctuary for so long. I'm gonna stop using the word sanctuary now - its a bit pretentious and lame.
Anyway, the purpose of this post is to let Leah know that I shall no longer be a disappointment to her, and try to be a bit more regular in future. I might even be more sophisticated in my postings - you never know. However, the fact I have spent my day watching One Tree Hill and trying to not unpack, I wouldn't get any of your hopes up. If thats what you are looking for in life, I recommend Loz and Leah's blogs instead.
